    That’s a long 6 for like a valley rafter sitting on a deck or sleeper. I like Swanson even though there’s brighter coooler looking squares those have a slot so you can put your fingernail in the slot on the back for a stop when your all stretched and can’t get your face to see it been using Swanson 30 years for this reason

    That's not a six twelve pitch... it's called the back side of a six twelve pitch. Which is a 90-degree shift from the line you drew and vica versa.

    That's called a 20/20 job... From 20 feet away at 20 miles an hour, it looks great. That cut will separate... Use a single piece routered or belt sanded... Much more integrity in one board ... Cheers!

    A little tip... The metal biter is used upside down and the downpipe seam always goes on the back, because if you put it exposed it can create water leaks. 👍
